Collaboration of Strength and Beauty
PREMIER DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Fairhaven Sound Single Select siding heavy-duty construction and easy-care features require minimal upkeep. Each panel is solid colour throughout, so it won’t chip, flake and blister like painted surfaces. And unlike wood, it won’t rot and warp due to moisture.
Integrated Panel Locking System
This exclusive design locks panels firmly together for increased strength and structural integrity, as well as a more uniform finished look.
Optimal Installation Guides
Self-aligning nail slots and a temperature chart on the side tab help ensure that each panel is properly positioned for optimal expansion and contraction in all weather.
Self-Concealing Side Tabs
The self-concealing side tabs feature the same cedargrain detail as the panel to hide seams where panels are joined, creating a virtually seamless appearance.
Extended Panel Length
Approximately 40% longer than typical shake and scallop profiles, Fairhaven Sound Single Select’s 6’8″ extended length achieves long, uninterrupted lines for a smoother finish.
Variety of Mold Patterns
An expanded variety of shake molds creates a random, natural-looking appearance just like actual cedar
Hurricane-Tough!
In independent laboratory tests, Fairhaven Sound Single Select Shakes & Scallops remained secure in Category 5 hurricane-velocity winds.

Gentek is here before, during, and after your project with design tools, expert insights, and helpful resources for long-term performance.
*Colours will vary based on user’s screen settings. We recommend that you make final colour selections using actual product samples.
Your siding is designed to look its best across a wide range of conditions. Because of that, colour, texture, and grain may appear slightly different depending on lighting, viewing angle, and exposure, and the same colour can look slightly different when different profiles or products are used together. These are differences in appearance only, not differences in the product itself. For the most accurate view, set the samples side by side in their planned orientation and look at them outdoors in natural daylight at various times of the day, in the spot where they'll be installed. Step back and check the combination from a few angles.
