Super Spacer® Non-Metal Spacer Design System
Another key component to a window’s energy efficiency is the spacer system. A spacer creates an insulating air space between the panes of glass, which functions as a thermal barrier to help prevent energy loss. It also stabilizes the panes of glass for greater stability and longevity. Gentek windows’ Super Spacer® system combines a structural foam spacer with a seal of hot melt butyl to create a “warm” low-conduction edge. This non-metal design eliminates any metal-to-glass contact, thereby increasing the edge of the glass temperature for enhanced energy efficiency.

- Available in solid extruded Bright White, or customize your windows with our Armour Guard™ black exterior coating technology or one of our 20 standard paint colours.

INTERIOR
- A full selection of vinyl, composite and wood jamb extensions achieves a custom installation.
- Tilt-in sashes on the double hung window allow for easy cleaning of the glass from inside your home; single hung windows feature a tilt-in bottom sash only.
- Interior colour choices are solid extruded Bright White or an optional Black painted finish.4
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
- Steel-reinforced interlock on larger windows with two locks and keepers for a snug fit and increased durability (hung and slider windows).
- Innovative retractable PVC nailing flange (optional) is folded flat against the window frame to protect it from damage during shipping and installation.

4000 Series
Accommodating a variety of installation methods, the 4000 Series features a 4-1/2" thick frame for increased energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal. The multichambered design, integrated insulating components and precision-engineered glass technology further shield your home from energy loss.
