Window Opening Control Devices

A window Opening Control Device (WOCD) is a safety mechanism that limits a window’s opening to less than 4 inches to prevent falls while still allowing for emergency egress.  All Gentek factory-installed WOCDs meet the ASTM F2090-21 standard.

WOCDs are available on the following Gentek product lines:

  • 3000 & 4000 Series

    • Single hung & Single Slider
    • Casement
